A skin that burns is a totally dehydrated skin, dried out. To avoid burns, the skin must therefore be considerably moisturized beforehand, especially when it is fair. Sun protection is a plus when the horse's skin is prone to sunburn, but it should always be used in addition to moisturizing beforehand. The more the skin is moisturized, the stronger the skin barrier is and prevents the penetration of UV rays and the arrival of any external parasites.

PREVENTION
For a horse prone to sunburn, on the head or legs, the best prevention is the application of Natjely balm 1 evening out of 3 and solaren 1 day out of 3 in the morning. After a while, space out the applications of the 2 products.
IN CASE OF SUNBURN
If the horse is sunburned, apply Cutene in the evening to the affected areas every other day. If the risk of sunburn is too great, apply Solaren in the morning in between.

Solaren is ultra-moisturizing. If your horse's skin is extremely dry, it will "drink" the Solaren faster. The longer you apply it, the longer the time between 2 applications. You can also stop your horse drying out by applying Natjely in the evening in the early stages.
My horse has a burned nose. Can solaren help?
In this case, the ideal solution is to help the skin repair itself quickly to avoid deeper damage. Apply cutene to these damaged areas every evening or 2 days, then apply a thin layer of solaren the next morning to continue moisturizing and protect against UV rays. Improvements will be visible very quickly. Cutene will no longer be necessary.
