Moisture and ammonia released from manure and urine can damage the hoof and harm the foot. To fight against horn softening, damage and dirt, Ongifen™ acts as a barrier against moisture, mud and soiling and frees the horn from excess water while allowing it to breathe. Enriched with powerful anti-bacterials, it sanitizes the foot at the same time. Whether it is the sole, the wall, the frog or even the heel bulbs, your horse's entire foot is protected and purified without being suffocated.
If the horse's feet are exposed daily to humidity or dirt (manure, urine, mud, rain): once a week on the whole foot. If the horse's feet are exposed daily to moisture or dirt (dung, urine, mud, rain): Once a week/every 10 days, after cleaning and brushing the foot, apply a thick layer (including heel bulbs if needed). Stop the applications when the foot becomes dry.
If the horse's feet are soft (sole, heel bulbs): every 2-3 days, after having cleaned and brushed the foot, apply a thick layer (including bulbs if necessary). Stop the applications when the foot becomes dry.
- Step 1: Pick his feet and brush the foot. Inject with a small syringe, hydrogen peroxide Vol 10 in the holes. Remove the surplus with a terry towel. - Step 2 : Quickly afterwards, apply Fourgen in the same areas to stimulate the growth of the horn and close the holes. Leave on for 10 minutes - Step 3 : Apply Ongifen in a thick layer, insisting on the problem areas and filling in the holes again. Wait half an hour before putting the horse back in a wet or muddy environment. Repeat the operation every 1 to 2 days, less often if the condition of the foot allows it. Space out the treatments progressively according to the improvement.
How to apply
MAIN INGREDIENTS : OLEA EUROPAEA FRUIT OIL - HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED OIL - BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER GLYCERYL OLEATE COPOLYMER - STEARIC ACID - VITAMIN E - EUGENIA CARYOPHYLLUS BUD OIL
Ongifen™ should never be applied to dry, brittle horn. The anti-moisture action of Ongifen™ can accentuate an already existing dryness. The film deposited by Ongifen™ resists water and allows the wall to breathe while maintaining an even moisture level. Ongifen™ can be applied to a wet foot. Ideally, it should be dried with a terry towel for added effectiveness.
