Derfen™ Original Cream, also known as "D.O.C." is a thick, waxy balm, very recognizable dark color, smelly but most importantly, frighteningly effective. It is the cream version of our iconic product: Derfen™ Original Lotion and is suitable for all skin types. D.O.C. works incredibly well on the itching sensations of thin-skinned horses. It has a mind-blowing restorative and calming action! 1 to 2 applications of Derfen™ Original Cream per week are enough to durably calm itchy sensations and repair damaged skin.
How to use
DERMATITIS & SCRATCHING
Apply to the affected area 2 to 3 times a week maximum. Observe an interval of 2 days between each application. Derfen™ Original Cream is a concentrated, undiluted product. As each skin is different, reapplication may vary from horse to horse. As long as the balm is visually present, there is no need to reapply.
INSECT BITES
Apply a small amount just on the sting, massaging it in once.
EARS
Apply in the horse's ear, massaging to penetrate, once a day (the ear has very thin skin and cartilage, the application must be done more often than on other areas).

Derfen™ Original Cream is a concentrate of natural active ingredients, so we recommend, as with any active product, that you first test the balm on a small area and wait 24 hours before applying it to the entire body.

Mon cheval fait des mycose aux oreilles, le Derfen original cream est-il mieux que le clear ?
Incontestablement. Le D.O.C. fait des merveilles sur ce genre de problème mais il faut l'appliquer assez souvent car la peau à cette endroit est extrêmement fine et le produit, aussi épais soit-il, est vite absorbé. Dès que vous ne le voyez plus, appliquez de nouveau.
Mon cheval a la peau fine mais est gris. Est-ce que je peux mettre la version CLEAR à la place de l'original ?
Malheureusement non. La version clear est faite pour les peaux épaisses et risquera de ne pas bien fonctionner sur votre cheval. C'est l'inconvenient. Vous pouvez utiliser la natjely pour protéger les zones et éventuellement ajouter un peu de derfly. Le shampoo tea tree apaisera aussi beaucoup.
Reste-t-il sur la peau en cas de pluie ou de douche ?
Derfen™ Original Cream est water resistant. Il pénètre dans les couches supérieures de l’épiderme et n’est évacué que par la transpiration. Douche ou pluie n’ont donc aucun effet.
PEUT-ON LE METTRE SUR UNE JUMENT GESTANTE ?
ll n'y a, à notre connaissance, pas de contre indication particulière pour cette utilisation (évitez cependant les applications trop répétées et les trop grandes quantités)
