Damaged Skin
Recent/old wound
Clean wound, recent or old, the power of honey, clay and rose hip (among others)
Friction
Friction is responsible for small depilations or even wounds that are difficult to heal due to recurrent friction. Prevention allows the skin to regain its elasticity while nourishing it and offers effective protection during the renewal of friction.
Hair loss
Hair loss in horses can be problematic depending on the climatic conditions or the surrounding pathogens. As a matter of principle, do not leave the skin bare at first. Protect with natjely balm and if necessary stimulate regrowth with Cutene
Dry skin
At the end of winter or in case of too much food, the skin can start to "flake" and dandruff appears. Externally, the skin should be cleaned (Tea Tree Shampoo) and moisturized (Derfly) and internally, either the diet should be modified or the liver should be drained.
Cracked skin
When the skin cracks, it means that it is very dry and falls prey to external aggressions (bacteria, sun...). Moisturizing it is the first step, which is usually sufficient (Natjely). In case of hair loss, you can stimulate cell regeneration with cutene.
Sun
The sun is responsible for a lot of skin pathologies on the horse, especially when the horse has white hair areas such as white socks, nostrils...
Mud
A pink skin can become crusty. This skin is strongly weakened by mud and humidity. Applying a product that is too corrosive (such as sulfur) makes the problem chronic. It must therefore be treated effectively but gently to preserve the elastin.
