Insect bites or whiteheads in the horse's ears
Apply a thick layer of NATJELY to the OUTSIDE of the ear without cleansing, or with a clean, slightly damp cloth, and massage in gently.
On the INSIDE FACE, apply a slightly thinner layer to the upper half of the ear, massaging for longer.
Reapply when the product is no longer visible or the ear feels dry to the touch.
Itchy bites can lead to serious wounds and hair loss. It is therefore essential to stop them immediately to avoid damage.
DERFEN balms are perfectly suited to this type of problem, although DERFEN ORIGINAL CREAM is more effective (thin skin on the ear) and longer-lasting.
WHITE SPOTS IN THE HORSE'S EARS MYCOSIS
Occasionally, more or less smooth white spots appear on the INSIDE of the ear, often making it painful for the horse.
This is a small mycosis (fungus) which, if left untreated, is likely to spread, making the area particularly sensitive for the animal. As the skin in this area is very thin (cartilage), it takes a long time to heal if creams or milks are used that are too quickly absorbed by the skin.
The application of a specific balm will be more effective and enable faster repair.
Apply DERFEN ORIGINAL CREAM to the inner side of the ear without cleaning, or with a clean, slightly damp cloth, if the horse is willing. If not, just apply the balm in a layer that's not too thick.
Repeat every day at first, then space out the applications.
